Camden School for Girls is 150 years old

Please join us to celebrate!

 

A relaxed and informal afternoon tea for alumni to spend time catching up with old acquaintances and meeting new ones. Take a trip down memory lane by touring the school buildings and grounds. Music, poetry and performance for your enjoyment. All are welcome!

When: Saturday 15 October 2022

Time: 2pm – 4pm

£20 alumni, £5 per additional adult, children free 

Tickets available via Eventbrite.

All proceeds to the Camden School Foundation of  Frances Mary Buss (registered charity number 312763) the funds from which are used for the benefit of the whole school.

Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning
Friday 7 October, 11-2pm

Our Macmillan Coffee Morning will be held on the above date, you are all very welcome.

If you would like to donate to this wonderful charity please do so through parent pay.

Calling all bakers, please could you make or donate a cake for us?  Could your cakes please be handed into reception by 9am on the morning of the 7th.

 

Enormous Jumble Sale
Saturday 12 November, 2-4pm

It’s that time of year again when we are asking you to start thinking about your winter wardrobe and having a clear out!

The jumble sale is massive, and we are going to need your support. It is a brilliant community event which raises thousands of much needed £££££ for your school. Please do support us by sending items in and, if you can, signing up to help.

We need:

  • Adult and children’s clothing
  • Toys
  • Bric-a-brac
  • Household linens
  • Shoes, bags, jewellery, etc
  • Electrical items (good working order only)
  • DVDs, CDs, records
  • Furniture

Unwanted gifts, unused Christmas cards, decorations for our Christmas gift stall.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR JUMBLE IN YET - WE WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN

ADHD parent/carer online group for parents of children aged 5-12 with a diagnosis of ADHD or on the waiting list for an assessment of ADHD. Starting 16th September. 

CAMHS waiting list parent support group for parents/carers of CYP aged 11-16 who are waiting for treatment from CAMHS and present with anxiety, depression and self-harm (neurodevelopmental, eating disorders are exclusion criteria). Only looking for around 5 referrals from each borough. Starting 14th September.  

Families, Food and Feelings parent group for parents/carers of CYP aged 5 to 17 who are above a healthy weight. Starting 14th September. 

Love and Limits parent group for parents/carers of CYP aged 12-16 who present with challenging behaviour. Starting 13th September (evening group) and 15th September (morning group). 

NB: Some of these groups have started already, but it’s fine for parents to join for the following week
